Know what your website did last month
A one-off audit tells you where you stand today. Sites drift — a plugin update slows a page, a competitor moves. This re-measures the same site’s mobile performance every month and leads with what changed.
Baseline report
The performance score is the reading later months are compared against.
First change report
The same site’s performance, measured again. Too early for a long trend.
Change-led report
Leads with the measured movement in performance since the previous month, then 3-5 prioritised actions for the month ahead.
Cancel by email
One email to support cancels it, processed the same business day. No further charges, no form, no retention call, no minimum term.
A monthly document built for comparison.
Every monthly email has the same shape, so the comparison is the point and you always know where to look.
What changed
The lead item, every month: your measured mobile performance score against last month, stated as improvement or regression — not a fresh unrelated report.
Current state
Where performance stands now (measured), with a short researched note on UX, technical SEO and visibility from public information.
Priority actions
Three to five things worth doing in the coming month, ordered by likely impact rather than by category.
Observable changes
Public research for visible changes around your site and nearby competitors since last month. Only what can be checked is reported.
What is actually measured, every month.
Performance figures come from Google PageSpeed Insights against your live URL on mobile. They are real measurements, taken fresh each month, not estimates.
Mobile performance score
Google Lighthouse performance score for your live site, tracked month over month so drift is visible as a number, not a feeling.
Largest Contentful Paint
How long until the main content actually appears. The metric most closely tied to whether a visitor waits or leaves.
First Contentful Paint
Time to first visible rendering — the point at which a visitor knows the site is responding at all.
Total Blocking Time
How long the page is unresponsive to taps and clicks while scripts execute.
Cumulative Layout Shift
Whether the page moves under the reader while it loads, which is a common cause of mis-taps on mobile.
Observable change — researched
Not measured: publicly visible changes around your site and competitors, found by web search. Only what can be checked is reported.
Priced as a measurement, not a retainer.
Monitoring is a subscription because the value is the comparison, and a comparison needs more than one reading. It is not a retainer and it does not include implementation work.
Who this is for, and who it is not for.
A good fit if
- Your website matters commercially and changes over time
- You have already had an audit, or know roughly where you stand
- You want a regular measured read rather than a one-off snapshot
- You or a developer can act on a short monthly list
Not a good fit if
- You want a single answer today — buy the one-time audit instead
- You want us to implement the fixes on your site
- Your site is static and effectively never changes
- You want uptime or downtime alerting, which this is not
No lock-in, and no guarantee we cannot honour
Monitoring carries no money-back guarantee, because it is billed monthly rather than sold as a single deliverable. The protection that actually fits a subscription is the ability to leave: email support and we process the cancellation the same business day, so you are not charged again. Full terms on the refunds page.
Before you subscribe.
When does the first report arrive?
Subscribing triggers a baseline report against your live site; its performance score is the reading later months are compared against. If the automatic report cannot be generated, Julien is alerted and sends it personally within one business day.
When do the monthly reports arrive?
On the 1st of each month, automatically, for as long as the subscription is active.
How do I cancel?
Email julien@relaycairn.com, or reply to any monitoring email, and ask to cancel. We process it the same business day: you are not charged again and no further reports are sent. The current month is not refunded or pro-rated. There is no cancellation form, no retention call and no minimum term. Note that replying STOP only stops the emails — to stop billing, ask us to cancel.
Is this uptime monitoring?
No, and it is worth being clear about that. This re-audits quality and performance monthly. It will not page you when your site goes down. If you need downtime alerting, use a dedicated uptime service — they are inexpensive and they do a different job.
Do I need the $199 audit first?
No. The one-time audit covers more areas in a single pass; monitoring is narrower but repeated and comparative.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. The one-time audits carry a 30-day guarantee because they are a single deliverable. Monitoring is billed monthly and you can cancel before the next charge, which is the protection that actually fits a subscription.
Measure it monthly, or find out the hard way.
Baseline report on signup, then a change-led report on the 1st of every month. $149/month, cancel any time by email.
